FreedomMissions
One of the purposes of Freedom Church is to communicate the saving message of Jesus Christ both here and away. There are many opportunities for you to participate in this at Freedom. It could be volunteering with a group that is sorting turkeys at John 3:16 Mission in Tulsa, lending a “hand” in a puppet show in a Mexican village or breaking boards in a karate demonstration in the jungles of Cambodia.

A-Z Prayers for Missions February: "X" - Excellence
Pray that our missionaries will strive for excellence in serving Christ, presenting their lives as an example of light into a dark world.
Just one thing: live your life in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or am absent, I will hear about you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind, working side by side for the faith of the gospel (Philippians 1:27).
Haiti Mission Trip 2011
In September 2011 we had a group of five men travel to Haiti with WATERisLIFE.com to help drill and repair water wells. They drilled a well in the city of Limbe to provide water for an orphanage. They were also able to help out by grinding 2 1/2 tons of corn to be given away, distributed personal water filters in the town of Ennery, and built a chain-link fence. They had the privilege of playing with and loving on 29 wonderful orphan kids as well.
Cambodia Mission Trip
A group of 21 people traveled to Cambodia in June 2011. The focus of this trip was to hold a VBS for the Children's Center in Poipet as well as for kids in the surrounding neighborhood. It was a very successful outreach to the community as over 750 children attended and had the chance to hear about God's love for them. The group also helped by painting a local school.
Campus Crusade For Christ
Coming back from a year in Berlin, God has led Joanna Kelley to continue working with Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) and this spring she will be moving down to San Antonio, TX. It's there that she and a new team will be helping get a Hispanic branch of Cru (called Destino) started on several college campuses (UTSA, SAC, and Palo Alto)! Destino is just in its beginning stages so the Cru team will be doing a lot of ground work, meeting and sharing the gospel with a lot of students, and hoping to see God raise up a Christian movement of Hispanic believers on these campuses! As of now, Joanna expects to be working there for at least a few years...and ironically San Antonio is near a couple of prominent Texas-German cities. :) Please continue praying for Joanna, the team she will be working with, and the students she will minister to as she sets out on a new adventure with God. You can stay updated on what’s happening in Joanna’s life through her blog at joannakelley.wordpress.com
Kenya
Pastor Andrew traveled to Kenya in April 2011 to help train pastors in Nairobi and the Lake Baringo area. The conference was very well attended and over 900 pastors had the opportunity to receive materials and training, some for the very first time.
